   The informationazation construction of our country has made long development, especially the electronic information product manufacturing industry. The information industry, including the telecommunication industry and the software industry, has become the foundational, pillar, and leading industry of national economy, and the strategic industry to strengthen the comprehensive state power. The information industry plays an important role in the economic structure adjustment after China entered into WTO.

   In the first half year of 2002, the output of domestic electronic product increased by 10.3% to 91.9 billion Yuan, sales revenue increased by 16.7% to 441.3 billion Yuan; the exports increased by 33.3% to 38.59 billion, in which the software is 0.6 billion that is 41% higher than last year.
