ISC Held Information Accessibility Workshop at the 2019 WSIS Forum

Organized by the Internet Society of China (ISC), the workshop entitled with "Empowering Information Accessibility with AI" was held at the 2019 WSIS Forum in Geneva on Apr 11, 2019.

In recent years, a variety of artificial intelligence technologies, such as picture recognition, and human-machine voice interaction, had achieved gratifying results. How these new emerging technology empower information accessibility for an inclusive information society still needs joint efforts from multi-stakeholders. The workshop aims to provide a platform to exchange information and best practice on promoting the information accessibility development through AI, and discuss the challenge faced and seek for possible solutions.

A multiple based speakers were present at the workshop, included Mr. ZHAO Houlin (Secretary-general of ITU), Dr. Hu Xianhong (Programme Specialist at UNESCO), Ms. Jane Coffin (Senior Advisor to the CEO, ISOC), Mr. Cui Baoqiu (VP of Xiaomi Corporation), Mr. Ji Bifeng (CTO of Two Monkeys Technology Co., Ltd), Prof.Liu Erwu (Tongji University), and Dr. Li Duoduo (Xiamen University).
