ISC Organized the 2025 e-Charity Day Activity

The May 25th is the founding date of the Internet Society of China (ISC) and it also be set as the "e-Charity Day", calling for an inclusive Internet benefit for everyone.
On May 25th this year, ISC jointly with China Association of Volunteers for Persons with Disabilities, China Silver Industry Association organized the 2025 e-Charity Day activity, focusing on digital technolgy empowering the people with disabilities and the elderly group. The activity was theme as "Smart, Cultural and Happy China——Joint Action for Advancing High-Quality Development of an Accessibility & Aging-Friendly Internet".
Mr. Lv Shiming (President of China Association of Volunteers for Persons with Disabilities), Mr. Li Qingzhong, (President of China Association of Persons with Visual Disabilities), Mr. Yang Yang (Former President of China Association of Persons with Hearing Disabilities), Mr. Wu Shimin (Executive President of China Silver Industry Association), Mr. Zhao Xing (President of Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall), Mr. Zhang Qiusheng (President of National Institute of Transportation Development of Beijing Jiaotong University), Prof. Shahbaz Khan (Director of the UNESCO Beijing Cluster Office) and high-level leadership from Alibaba Group, QSG Group attended the event and presented keynote on how digital technology to narrowing digital divide.
Mr. Huang Chengqing, Vice President of ISC and Director-general of Information Accessibility Working Committe, said that "The Internet industry should proactively shoulder social responsibility by integrating aging-friendly and accessibility adaptations as key standards for products and services. Through technological innovation, it must drive service upgrades to ensure the benefits of digital development benifit for all people, collectively painting a warm foundation for an inclusive Digital China.", addressed in his remark.
