ISC Organized Worshop at the WSIS+20 High-level Event 2025

On July 10, the Internet Society of China and the ELA-IA (Brazil) co-orgnaized the theme workshop "AI for Digital Inclusive Development" at the WSIS+20 High-level Event 2025 in Geneva. The WSIS event was co-hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Swiss Confederation, and co-organized by ITU, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Dai Wei, Deputy Secretary General of ISC delivered opening remark. Flora Santana, Consultant and Advocacy in Tech, Law and Communication of ELA-IA (Brazil); Cristina Akemi Shimoda Uechi, Science & Technology Analyst - General Coordination of Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Brazil; Wang Xinhui, Vice President of ZTE; and Wang Ce, Research of China Mobile Research Institute were invited as speakers to share their insights and best practices on how to use the new technology in fueling accessible innovation and promoting inclusive environments at the digital era.
During the event, the Project "Public Service System for Aging and Accessibility of Internet Applications of China" submitted by ISC was recognized as Nominee Project by ITU.
