On September 25, the“2025 Conference on Intelligent Applications and Innovative Development for Digital Government”organized by the Internet Society of China (ISC) and undertaken by Infoobas and the Beijing Guorun Internet Information Technology Research Institute, concluded successfully in Beijing. The event brought together more than 300 government delegates, academic experts, heads of leading enterprises and media representatives from across the country. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge trends, common challenges and future directions for digital-government development, jointly exploring new paths for enhancing governance capacity in the age of AI.

Han Xia, former Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Executive Vice Chair and Secretary-General of the MIIT Science and Technology Committee, and Deputy Director of the Expert Advisory Committee of ISC, attended and delivered an address. Chen Jiachun, Vice President and Executive Deputy Secretary-General of ISC, also attended and gave a welcome remark.

On behalf of the ISC, Chen Jiachun extended sincere welcome and gratitude to all attendees. She observed that building a digital government is an imperative of the era, vital to modernizing governance and to people's sense of happiness. The ISC, she stressed, will continue to serve as a bridge and bond, providing high-level exchange platforms, reinforcing think-tank support, and fully promoting to assist the digital transformation and upgrading of government services. 

The conference aimed to spotlight government's data-intelligence transition, foster cross-sector data-intelligence integration, showcase outstanding practices, build consensus and inject new momentum into digital-government development—offering digital impetus for Chinese-style modernization.
