Ma Di Elected as Member of MANRS Steering Committee

On Nov 4, the MANRS released its 2025 Steering Committee Election results that Mr. Ma Di, the Principal Research Fellow of ZDNS, also the Vice President member of the Internet Society of China (ISC), was elected as member of the Steering Committee.
The Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) is a global initiative, led by the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) and supported by the Internet Society (ISOC), to work with operators, enterprises, and policymakers to implement crucial fixes needed to reduce the most common routing threats.
As a computer network scientist, Ma Di has been deeply involved in Internet routing security for more than a decade. He is the co-author of RFC 8211 (RPKI Threat Model), RFC 8416 (Local Management of Number Resource with RPKI), and RFC 8897 (RPKI Relying Party Requirements). As a well-regarded expert in routing security, he is an invited reviewer of ICANN OCTO-014 report on RPKI Technical Analysis and has been serving as consultant of NNIX (ix.cn) on routing security since the inception of this IXP.
He was the co-founder of APNIC Routing Security SIG and then served as co-chair and acting chair of this SIG. In addition to technical topics of routing security, he was also active in policy development, by serving as NRO NC member and the APNIC representative to the NRO NC PPFT(Policy Proposal Facilitator Team) since 2022.
