Recently, the Seminar on Interconnection and Interoperability of Internet Platforms, hosted by the Intellectual Property Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC), was held in Beijing. Dai Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of ISC, attended the seminar and delivered a speech.

Expert representatives from regulatory authorities, judicial organs, universities and research institutions engaged in internet platform governance gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics including the nature definition of Internet platforms' blocking and shielding behaviors, the interconnection and interoperability of platform data, the protection of users' right to choose, and the balance of diverse interests.

Scholars and experts from the Competition Policy and Evaluation Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sichuan University, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and other institutions also conducted in-depth deliberations on the interconnection and interoperability of internet platforms.
