On December 12, the Launching Conference of the IETF Young Scholars Advancement Program for international Internet Standards named the "Young Talent Initiative" was held in Beijing. Representatives from the initiating organizations including the Internet Society of China (ISC), the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), Tsinghua University, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and ZTE Corporation attended the conference.

Proposed and launched jointly by multiple institutions including industrial associations, enterprises and public institutions, and educational organizations, this Program aims to integrate academic innovation with international standards. It will provide funding for domestic university students and young researchers to participate in IETF international internet conferences and standard-setting activities. In addition, it will organize public lectures, specialized training courses and academic exchanges centering on IETF standardization activities, so as to help align the cultivation of China's internet technical talents and academic exchange activities with international practices.
