To accelerate the in-depth integration and innovation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with the Domain Name System (DNS) and boost the high-quality development of China's AI industry and the Internet, the Next-Generation Internet Infrastructure Resources Technology Innovation Promotion Group of the Internet Basic Infrastructure Resources Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC), hosted the "AI Era DNS Innovation and Development Technology Seminar" in Beijing on December 23, 2025.

Experts in attendance addressed that the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies is profoundly driving the iterative transformation of the core functions of DNS. The future constitutes a critical period for seizing the opportunities of the technological revolution, promoting the upgrading of DNS technologies and the evolution of its system, which holds significant importance for strengthening China's capacity to guarantee Internet basic infrastructure resources. 

The experts focused their discussions on cutting-edge technical directions such as AI-based DNS innovation and the intelligent agent Internet. They also reached a consensus on cooperation plans, including the joint innovation of the "Intelligent Agent Domain Name System (Agent DNS)" technology and the joint construction and sharing of a dataset in the "AI + Domain Name" field.
