During the 125th IETF Meeting, the first student meetup of the "IETF Chinese Youth Talent Program" was successfully held in Shenzhen.
The program was co-initiated by the Internet Society of China (ISC), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), Tsinghua University, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., ZTE Corporation, and other organizations. It aims to integrate academic innovation with international standardization.
The program sponsors students and young researchers from Chinese universities to participate in IETF international Internet meetings and standard development. It also organizes public lectures, training sessions, and academic exchanges centered on IETF standard activities, helping to align China's Internet technology talent cultivation and academic exchanges with international standards.
The meetup invited top experts including Jay Daley, IETF Secretary-General, Dhruv Dhody, Huawei Expert and current IAB Chair, and Dirk Kutscher, IRTF Chair, to hold in-depth dialogues with 60 students from universities across China.
